Grit Girls is an all girl gang, and we specialize in training women. We know how you ladies kill yourselves at the gym week after week and month after month and get no results. We know how you women deprive yourselves of the good things in life just to look good in a bikini for a couple of days only to go back to bodies you started with right after. We’ve seen ladies go in the gym for the first time with full of hope, only to realize they don’t know what to do, get discouraged then leave, that sucks.
We know these things, because like you, we’ve been there.
We developed the type of training that gives you structure, support and accountability necessary to push your results to the next level. The tools we provide will encourage independence every time you walk in the gym, so you can be able to enjoy working out by yourself.
We are a very diverse all girl gang with different fitness backgrounds and body types. We TOTALLY get that women come in different shapes and sizes, fitness was never a “one-size-fits-all” anyway. Our brand promises to make you fall in love with strength training, HIIT training and setting realistic goals for your bodies to become the best version of yourself just as we did! You will walk in that gym with full of confidence and grit!

Grit Girls is the result of three coaches coming together to combine their collective passion for training. Cam comes from her extensive gymnastics discipline. Having been the captain of one of the top cheerleading teams in Manila solidified her skills in coaching women (and men) from beginner to advanced level. Ida stems from her obsession for strength training, martial arts and nutritional sciences which led her to understand movement and how the body works. Her experience in dentistry school allowed her to understand the importance of training smart when one has limited time and energy (ya feel?). Last, we have Lexi who is the epitome of grit from her years of experience in team sports and trying out different workouts — she’s a beast at it too. Lexi is such a beast, she grinded out her recovery from some of her bone problems. Need inspiration? — Lexi’s your girl.
For us, there is simply no reason or excuse not to get that goal. Our position is unique in the industry because we come from different backgrounds and needs. Through extensive research, experience, trial and error and learning from the best in the field, we’ve figured out what we feel is the most effective approach to training.
The aim of Grit Girls is to provide a highly effective no frills approach to training. We will get you the results we wished we could have achieved when we first started working out in the gym. No gimmicks, no false promises or untested principles. Just battle tested training from three girls who truly understand GRIT. Our concept of training revolves around the notion of continuous improvement. We are constantly striving to get better & more importantly, help YOU get better.

A. Beginner Strength & Fat Loss
You know what sucks? Losing fat! You can’t have some of your favorite food and then you torture yourself at the gym (because it’s what your IG fitspo says, go 100% or go home). Obviously you are always tired because you are on lower calories.
And the biggest offender…you get WEAKER.
No, it doesn’t have to be that way! You see if you train very intelligently, in a fat loss phase you can maintain your strength and if you weren’t training optimally before, even potentially increase it.
Most fat loss programs emphasize how much weight you will lose and a few emphasize maintaining your muscle…but almost none talk about your strength! Our program is designed to maximize fat loss, preserve your muscle mass AND maintain or even increase your strength. We are athletes at heart that like to not only look good but be able to do something with our bodies.
We will walk you through everything. From the very basic stuff like what to eat, how to set up your macros etc, to more advanced stuff like principles of lifting and technique hacks. Our goal is to give you a comprehensive overview of how you should train, eat and approach fat loss to maximize results.
We’ve designed the program with every girl in mind. None of us have exceptional fat loss genetics, in fact, one of us is a little dough girl at heart, another has a big potential to expand anytime she lets go and one of is a little miss skinny….fat (guess which is which, you might win a prize). But we’ve managed over our combined our experiences in lifting and experimenting to decipher the simple rules of maintaining your strength while losing weight. The idea is for you to run our 12 week program, get much leaner and go right back to setting PRs.
B. Intermediate to Advance Strength and Fat Loss
Do you want to look leaner?
If you do, you are running out of time. That is if like most of us, you want to get lean for summer. There are only a few months until it is beach season and if you are like most people – you usually start your fat loss plan way too late!
So late that you never get lean during summer. Summer starts and you start trying to lose weight and by the end of summer, you are still “fluffy”. Everyone’s already half naked at a pool party and you’re THAT girl wearing a loose dress because you’re still not feeling confident to walk around in your designer bikini you’ve been saving for this day! (too accurate? Well, this is a true story).
Don’t be that girl, you’re better than that! But in order to do that, you need to start right now!
This program is a moderate volume, moderate frequency, sub-maximal template to help you lose fat while gaining strength and maintain your muscle. It is a 12 week program that begins with building your work capacity then transitions to heavier loads with a variety of movements. Be prepared to lift heavy!
C. Strength and Aesthetics (Hypertrophy)
Are you that girl who can still fit in the same clothes from when you were still 12 years old? Have you been trying to gain weight, but no matter how much you slam those calories you can’t seem to put on weight? Do you want to get stronger and look stronger? And are you sick of being called a STICK?!
Well, we got one question for you. What time is it?
It’s Gains O’clock!!!
This program will help you not only to increase in size, but increase in strength as well! How are we going to do that? It’s called Periodization. By training like powerlifter and on some days and then like a bodybuilder on the other days to increase those muscles and cuts you’ve been dying to have. Tackling two goals on the same phase, but on different days.
To get stronger, you need to be intelligent with your lifting. Hence our rock solid periodization. For bodybuilding, you need the right frequency, volume, exercise selection and diversity of training to consistently push your muscles to grow.
We’ll guide you through this whole confusing process, making it as easy as possible. From the simple stuff like what to eat, how to figure out your macros to the really big details like a comprehensive overview of how you should train, technique hacks and programming explain to really shed light on how to take control of your lifting journey.
This program is designed to work with everyone. None of us have amazing genetics. But through our combined decades of lifting and coaching, we’ve managed to decipher the simple principles of getting stronger and bigger. D. Calisthenic Progression
Want to be the ultimate performance based gym chick? We got you!
We know that top performing athletes and sports specific gym goers have one thing in common – and that is total control over their body and its movements. Here, we aim to maximize the potential of your body using little to no equipment (so yes, ladies, these progressions can be done at the gym or elsewhere as long as you have the essentials!). Basically, the equipment will just be “accessories” to your body, and your body – the CENTER PIECE!
The calisthenics progressions program walks you through exercises to train your body in a way that is effective in promoting an interplay between strength, balance, coordination and flexibility to help you perform at the highest level. You will find yourself using big and small muscles that you have never used before in the widest range of motion possible.
This program is designed to work for everyone, whichever level of fitness you are in. We start with the BASIC principles of proper posture and alignment across all body parts. We will then slowly incorporate movement work such as balance and coordination exercises. This will lead you to more advanced movements such as ground work – planks, hollow rocks and inversions – levers, hand stands, hand stand presses. No need to get intimidated though, because here, the primary goal is to be able to move your body around freely, easily and smoothly in space at a level of comfort you never had before. It pays to know your body to that extent.
2. Nutrition Guidance
“Are you doing everything in your power to move towards your goals?” A lot of us might think we ARE but a closer examination reveals there is A LOT of room for improvement.
Let’s take nutrition for example.
By now most people are familiar with the concept of flexible dieting amongst other diet fads that *eye roll* we would not even want to acknowledge. The idea in flexible dieting is that for body composition purposes, the calorie/macronutrient breakdown is far more important than the source of food. To build muscle, you need to be in a calorie surplus. To lose weight, you need to be in a deficit. Simple, right?
While both of the above statements are true, to OPTIMIZE your body composition, you need to know more. A lot more. Do you know what your maintenance calories are? Or what about the ideal amount of calories for you to eat to build mainly muscle and minimize fat gain? Do you respond better to eating more carbs or more fats? What about micronutrients, what should you be focusing on?
These seemingly simple questions all add up. And if you aren’t making the right choices, you could be accidentally sabotaging your goals. It might take far longer to get to where you want to be and you might not end up looking how you want.
